JEDDAH (Saudi Arabia), Apr 22 (Alliance News): The Pakistan Consulate in Jeddah marked Easter with a warm and inclusive celebration, emphasizing unity, interfaith harmony, and the values of compassion and patience. The event was led by Consul General Mr. Khalid Majid, who served as the chief guest.
In his address, Mr. Khalid Majid reflected on the teachings of Jesus Christ, particularly highlighting the virtues of humility and patience, which he said serve as guiding principles for humanity. He reaffirmed the consulate’s commitment to fostering inclusivity and respecting all faiths.
Chairman of the Christian Community, Mr. John Gulzar, expressed heartfelt thanks to the Pakistan Consulate, the Pakistan Army, and the Saudi government for their continued support of the Christian community. He lauded their efforts in encouraging interfaith respect and peaceful coexistence.
Prominent attendees included Pastor Patrick, Pastor France, Mr. Rafeal Khokhar, and Ms. Reema Gulzar. During the event, certificates of appreciation were awarded to individuals who have made notable contributions to community service.
