PM Shehbaz Sharif Invites Saudi Arabia to Invest in Pakistan’s Aviation Sector

ISLAMABAD, Oct 10 (Alliance News): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday extended an invitation to Saudi Arabia to invest in Pakistan’s aviation sector, particularly in the outsourcing of international airports.

He made this proposal during a meeting with Saudi Investment Minister Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih at the Prime Minister House.

The prime minister emphasized the enduring brotherly ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and appreciated the kingdom’s consistent support in difficult times.

Highlighting the importance of Al-Falih’s visit, he noted that it paves the way for enhanced investment collaboration between the two countries.

Shehbaz Sharif expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s ongoing support and conveyed his appreciation to King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their leadership in strengthening bilateral relations.

The prime minister also commended the productive discussions at the Pakistan-Saudi Business Forum, emphasizing the potential for new investments.

The Saudi Investment Minister reiterated Saudi Arabia’s commitment to expanding its investment in Pakistan, particularly in sectors such as mining, agriculture, food security, and infrastructure.

He revealed that the 27 MoUs signed during the visit mark the beginning of deeper economic cooperation.
