ISLAMABAD, July 15 (Alliance News): Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, said on Monday that the Prime Minister is committed to enforcing tax laws.
During an appearance on a private news channel, Sanaullah shared that the Prime Minister gave strict instructions to enforce tax laws in a recent meeting on the economy and taxation.
“The Prime Minister emphasized that tax laws are crucial for addressing economic challenges and must be implemented without exception,” said Sanaullah. “There will be no turning back, even if he has to resign.”
Sanaullah clarified that the Prime Minister’s statement was focused on economic and tax issues, not the current political situation. He reiterated that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is open to dialogue, even in difficult times.
“Even when PML-N members were jailed on false charges, we favored negotiations. Today, in government, we are still willing to negotiate for the country’s broader interest,” he said.
He accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) of creating chaos and spreading hatred to weaken the country. “They aim to use turmoil for political gain and harm the country,” he added.
Sanaullah also stated that the government will continue to work hard to provide relief to the people of Pakistan.
