KARACHI, March 25 (Alliance News): Karachi is set to experience a decrease in heat intensity starting today, with winds providing relief from the warm conditions, according to weather analysts.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts a further drop in temperatures over the weekend, with nighttime temperatures expected to fall between 17°C and 18°C, while suburban areas may experience even cooler conditions ranging from 14°C to 16°C.
Despite the expected relief, the maximum temperature in Karachi over the next 24 hours is predicted to remain between 33°C and 35°C, with a minimum recorded temperature of 21.5°C earlier.
The city’s humidity level stands at 68%, with hot and dry northwesterly winds blowing at a mild pace. Intermittent strong winds are also expected across the metropolis.
