ISLAMABAD, Nov 20 (Alliance News): The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Islamabad has strongly refuted recent media reports involving the Chinese Ambassador, labeling them as fabricated.
A spokesperson for the embassy issued a statement expressing “strong discontent” over the false news, emphasizing that the reports were misleading and had no factual basis.
The spokesperson clarified that the Chinese embassy had never had any contact with the guests or hosts mentioned in the news.
The embassy also pointed out that the last official meeting between the Chinese Ambassador and a Pakistani official occurred in September, when the ambassador visited Lahore and met with Punjab’s Chief Minister.
During that visit, the ambassador praised the development of Punjab and the local government’s governance, highlighting the continued positive relations between China and the Punjab provincial government.
