ISLAMABAD, Oct 7 (Alliance News): The Islamabad Policy Research Institute (IPRI) hosted a special lecture on Monday to mark one year of Israeli aggression and genocide in Gaza. His Excellency Nader K.

Alturk, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the State of Palestine, delivered a lecture titled “A Year of War in Gaza,” highlighting the destruction and loss of life in the region.

Alturk lamented the devastation, stating that over 50,000 Palestinians had been killed, millions displaced, and 80% of Gaza obliterated.

He condemned Israel for indiscriminately targeting civilian infrastructure such as mosques, schools, and hospitals.

He also underscored Palestinians’ right to self-defense under international law and criticized Israel’s tactics to undermine the “Right to Return” under UN resolutions.

The Palestinian envoy revealed Israel’s plans for a “Greater Israel,” expanding its aggressive ambitions to neighboring countries.

He expressed frustration with the failure of international organizations, including the UN Security Council, to uphold peace and security.

IPRI President Dr. Raza Muhammad reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for Palestine, condemning Israeli actions as genocide and emphasizing the need to push for the Two-State solution at global forums.
