ISLAMABAD, Aug 14 (Alliance News): The Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, organized a Digital Photographic and Painting Exhibition on Tuesday as part of the Independence Day celebrations.
The exhibition showcased Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage, featuring various aspects such as traditional clothing, music, historical landmarks, and landscapes. University students’ paintings depicted the diverse cultural activities of the country, while female students from FDE Schools contributed their artwork as well.
Visitors were captivated by the photographs of Pakistan’s stunning landscapes, lakes, and historical buildings. A total of 54 students participated in the exhibition, using their artistic talents to highlight the beauty of the nation.
In addition to the artwork, a book stall was set up, offering literature on Pakistan’s Independence and its history before and after the partition.
Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ambreen Jan, who served as the chief guest, praised the students for their hard work in portraying the nation’s culture through their paintings and photographs. She emphasized the importance of such events in keeping the spirit of Independence Day alive and appreciated the new generation’s commitment to preserving Pakistan’s cultural heritage.
Certificates of appreciation were distributed to the participating students, recognizing their contributions to the exhibition.
