BAKU, Feb 24 (Alliance News): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to hold a bilateral meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev today and address the Pakistan-Azerbaijan Business Forum to enhance trade and investment ties.
During his two-day visit, the prime minister will travel to the Zagulba Presidential Palace, where he will be accorded a guard of honor before holding talks with President Aliyev. The meeting will be followed by delegation-level discussions covering mutual interests and cooperation. Both leaders will also witness the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and agreements aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.
Prime Minister Shehbaz will pay tribute at the Victory Monument, honoring the heroes and martyrs of the 44-day Nagorno-Karabakh war. Later, he will address the Pakistan-Azerbaijan Business Forum to promote trade and investment opportunities between the two nations.
In the evening, President Aliyev will host a dinner reception in honor of Prime Minister Shehbaz and his delegation, further reinforcing the strong ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
