ISLAMABAD, Nov 18 (Alliance News): Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting, National Heritage, and Culture, Attaullah Tarar, criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Zaheer Abbas Khokhar for seeking repeated adjournments in the Election Tribunal case challenging Tarar’s NA-127 victory in the February 8 general elections.
Speaking to the media, Tarar accused Zaheer Abbas of wasting the tribunal’s time and avoiding presenting evidence. “If he had proof, why request another adjournment?” he questioned, alleging that such delays have become a pattern for PTI leadership.
The minister expressed confidence in his legal team, stating they are fully prepared with all necessary documents to defend the case. He urged the opposition to admit its lack of evidence instead of prolonging proceedings unnecessarily.
