Islamabad Prepares for Buri Imam Urs with Tight Security and Smooth Logistics

ISLAMABAD, Aug 08 (Alliance News): As the annual Urs of Shah Abdul Latif Kazmi, also known as Buri Imam, approaches, the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration is making thorough preparations to ensure a smooth and safe event for the devotees.

Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Irfan Nawaz Memon, visited the Buri Imam shrine to oversee the arrangements for the Urs, which will take place on August 15, 16, and 17.

The visit included officials from the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Directorate of Municipal Administration (DMA), along with the Assistant Commissioner and senior police officers.

The team inspected various aspects of the shrine, including security measures, parking, lighting, sanitation, and water supply, to ensure that all necessary facilities are in place for the event.

DC Memon was briefed on the comprehensive security and administrative plans designed to provide a safe and well-organized experience for the followers.

DC Memon assured that all arrangements have been finalized and that the administration is fully prepared to accommodate the needs of the attendees during the Urs.
