ISLAMABAD, 3 May (Alliance News): Vice President of the Center for China and Globalization, Professor Victor Gao, gave a firm response to Indian media on Friday, reaffirming that China stands firmly with Pakistan during times of crisis and will extend full support in defending Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Speaking during a televised discussion, Professor Gao rejected baseless accusations made without evidence following recent tensions between Pakistan and India.
In response to a question by an Indian anchor regarding the situation in South Asia, he emphasized the need for impartial investigations into terrorist incidents rather than politically motivated blame.
“Even when Chinese citizens were attacked in Pakistan, China did not accuse anyone without proof—we called for an independent investigation,” Professor Gao said. “Pakistan has taken serious and commendable steps in its fight against terrorism.”
He described the Pakistan-China relationship as “strong as a wall of lead,” adding that both countries are close neighbors and strategic partners who stand by each other in all circumstances.
“China will always support Pakistan in defending its borders and national integrity,” he reiterated, reinforcing the strength of bilateral ties amid growing regional challenges.
