ISLAMABAD, March 12 (Alliance News): Iran has strongly condemned the hostage-taking incident involving a passenger train in Balochistan, expressing deep concern over the safety of innocent civilians.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ismail Baghaei reaffirmed Tehran’s firm stance against terrorism and violent extremism, extending solidarity with Pakistan during this difficult time.
He also reiterated Iran’s readiness to assist in efforts to end the crisis and ensure the safety of those affected.
Meanwhile, the Iranian embassy in Islamabad also denounced the attack, calling it a “cowardly crime against humanity.”
It condemned the targeting of civilians, including women, children, and the elderly, as well as the disruption of vital transportation infrastructure, labeling it a grave violation of human rights and international norms.
