Ishaq Dar Urges Swift Completion of Textile Parks to Boost Exports

ISLAMABAD, Jan 13 (Alliance News): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar has called for the swift completion of textile parks in Pakistan and emphasized enhancing investment in export-oriented industries.

Chairing a meeting of the Working Group on the Establishment of Textile Parks on Monday, Ishaq Dar highlighted the critical role of the textile sector in strengthening Pakistan’s economy. He urged the concerned departments to expedite ongoing projects and create opportunities for investment to bolster exports.

The meeting was attended by the federal minister for investment, provincial ministers, federal secretaries of foreign affairs and industries, along with representatives from the Board of Investment and the Special Investment Facilitation Council.
