ISSI to Host International Conference on Pakistan’s Ancient Archaeological Heritage

ISLAMABAD, Sep 19 (Alliance News): The Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) will host a one-day international conference titled “Celebrating Pakistan’s Ancient Archaeological and Civilizational Heritage” on September 30.
The conference will highlight Pakistan’s millennia-old heritage, including the Indus Valley and Gandhara civilizations, alongside iconic sites like Mohenjo-Daro, Harappa, Taxila, Swat, and Takht-e-Bahi.

 

According to a news release, the conference will serve as a platform for expert discussions on heritage preservation, global awareness, and sustainable tourism.

The event aims to bring together scholars, archaeologists, and policymakers to explore Pakistan’s rich historical legacy and promote cross-cultural dialogue.
