Menzies Aviation’s Launch in Pakistan to Boost Technology, Investment, and Jobs: PM Shehbaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD, Jan 17 (Alliance News) – Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday lauded the establishment of Menzies Aviation, a global logistics company, in Pakistan, expressing hope it would enhance technological advancement, attract international investments, and create job opportunities for the youth.

During a meeting with a six-member delegation led by Menzies Aviation CEO Philip Joeinig, the Prime Minister inaugurated the company’s first office in the country by unveiling a commemorative plaque.

He also welcomed the launch of its IT infrastructure and facilitation desk in Pakistan.

“The arrival of a renowned global company like Menzies Aviation underscores the boundless potential for international investment in Pakistan’s stable economy,” PM Shehbaz stated.

He emphasized the significance of this milestone, particularly for the country’s IT sector, which he described as crucial to Pakistan’s economic development.

Highlighting the impact of investor-friendly policies, the Prime Minister noted the steady growth in IT exports, which he termed a promising trend.

He expressed optimism that the economic advancements and Menzies Aviation’s presence would encourage other international firms to invest in Pakistan.

PM Shehbaz stressed that the recent positive economic indicators reflect a conducive business environment and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to advancing the country after achieving economic stability.

Federal Ministers Attaullah Tarar and Shaza Fatima Khawaja were also present during the meeting.
