ISLAMABAD, May 14 (Alliance News): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Holy Family Hospital in Rawalpindi on Tuesday to inquire about the health of Tauqeer Abbas, who sustained injuries in a recent Indian drone attack near the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Tauqeer Abbas, cousin of Ali Haider—the only brother of eight sisters—was seriously injured in the assault. Ali Haider was martyred in the same incident.
Minister Naqvi lauded Tauqeer’s courage and spoke to the attending doctors about his eye injury. He instructed the medical staff to ensure the best possible treatment and affirmed that all efforts would be made to save Tauqeer’s eye.
He also offered a special prayer for Tauqeer’s swift recovery and emphasized that Pakistan’s resilience and strength are built on the sacrifices of its martyrs.
According to hospital sources, Tauqeer, Ali Haider, and another cousin, Manzoor Faisal, were selling cheeseburgers outside the stadium to support their families when they were targeted.
