Pakistan Briefs Diplomats on Pahalgam Fallout, Rejects Indian Misinformation

ISLAMABAD, April 25 (Alliance News): Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch on Thursday briefed a group of Islamabad-based Heads of Mission and diplomats on the evolving situation following the Pahalgam attack in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

During the briefing, she shared the outcomes of the National Security Committee (NSC) meeting, reiterating Pakistan’s rejection of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

She strongly dismissed the Indian misinformation campaign blaming Pakistan for the attack, stating that such tactics hinder peace and regional stability.

Amna Baloch also warned against any attempts by India to escalate tensions, affirming Pakistan’s readiness to respond to any misadventure.

She emphasized that Pakistan remains committed to peace but will not tolerate baseless allegations or aggressive posturing.
