RIYADH, Dec 4 (Alliance News): Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have emphasized the need for a transformative change in their economic, trade, and investment relations during a meeting between Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The discussion took place on the sidelines of the One Water Summit in Riyadh.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed his pleasure in meeting Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for the fifth time in six months, highlighting the deep affection between the two nations.
He stressed the importance of enhancing meaningful cooperation to spur economic growth and prosperity in Pakistan.
The two leaders expressed satisfaction with the progress of agreements and MoUs aimed at boosting Saudi investment in Pakistan.
Prime Minister Sharif thanked the Crown Prince for his unwavering support and reiterated his invitation for a visit to Pakistan, to which the Crown Prince expressed enthusiasm.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Prime Minister Sharif highlighted the meeting’s outcomes, expressing gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s interest in strengthening bilateral ties and fostering mutually beneficial economic cooperation.
