Pakistan and Yemen Discuss Strengthening Cooperation in Girls’ Education

ISLAMABAD, Jan 13 (Alliance News): Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, met with the Deputy Minister for Education of Yemen, Dr. Ali Alabab, on Monday to discuss the future of girls’ education and explore opportunities for collaboration between the two countries.

The meeting, which also included the Yemeni Ambassador to Pakistan, Mohammed Motahar Alashabi, and Additional Secretary Education, Hassan Saqlain, marked an important step in enhancing bilateral educational cooperation.

Minister Siddiqui expressed his pleasure in hosting the Yemeni delegation and hailed the successful conclusion of the International Conference on Girls’ Education, describing it as a historic milestone for Muslim countries.

He stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and Yemen in the education sector.

The minister noted that both nations have faced significant challenges due to terrorism and emphasized that education is the key to national progress.

He called for deeper collaboration between Muslim countries to benefit the larger Ummah.
