Pakistan Condemns Deadly Attack on Saudi Hospital in Sudan

ISLAMABAD, Jan 27 (Alliance News): Pakistan on Monday strongly condemned the attack on a Saudi hospital in El Fasher city, Sudan, which claimed around 70 lives, terming it a blatant violation of international law.

In a statement, the Foreign Office expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and extended condolences to the victims’ families.

“The attack, resulting in the tragic deaths of around 70 individuals, is a clear violation of international law and endangers innocent civilians,” the statement said.

The Foreign Office emphasized the importance of protecting healthcare facilities and adhering to international humanitarian law.

It further reiterated Pakistan’s belief that Sudan’s conflict can only be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy.

“We express our full support for the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Sudan,” the statement added.
