Pakistan Science Club Launches Technovation Challenge 2024-2025

ISLAMABAD, Jan 20 (Alliance News): The Pakistan Science Club (PSC), serving as the Regional Ambassador for Technovation in Pakistan since 2017, has announced the commencement of the Technovation Challenge 2024-2025.

This global initiative is designed to empower girls aged 8-18 by equipping them with mobile and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to address real-world problems in their communities.

The 12-week program offers 12 free sessions weekly, conducted either online or on-site to maximize accessibility for participants across the country. Specific locations and schedules for on-site sessions will be disclosed soon.

Participants will be grouped into three categories based on their age as of August 1, 2025: Beginner Division (8-12 years), Junior Division (13-15 years), and Senior Division (16-18 years).

The program encourages teamwork as girls identify community issues, design innovative solutions, and build mobile applications. It also aims to develop critical skills such as collaboration, problem-solving, leadership, and entrepreneurship.

With over 20,000 participants annually from more than 115 countries, the Technovation Challenge provides a unique opportunity for young innovators to learn, grow, and compete globally. PSC has successfully conducted similar programs since 2018 and earned international recognition, including winning the Global AI Family Challenge twice.

As a prominent partner of Technovation, PSC continues its mission to bridge the gender gap in technology by inspiring the next generation of female tech leaders.

Registrations are now open, offering young girls a platform to gain entrepreneurial and technological skills while competing on an international stage.
