Political Parties Unite to Observe Day of Solidarity with Palestine on October 7

ISLAMABAD, Oct 4 (Alliance News): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and a delegation from Jamaat-e-Islami, led by its Ameer Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, at the Prime Minister’s House.
During the meeting, the political leaders resolved to express national solidarity with Gaza and the Palestinian people, agreeing to observe a “Day of Solidarity with Palestine” on October 7.

The participants emphasized the importance of standing against the brutalities inflicted upon innocent Palestinian men, women, and children by Israeli forces. On October 7, nationwide gatherings and seminars will be organized to show support for the Palestinian cause and protest against the ongoing Israeli aggression.

Additionally, it was decided to convene an All Parties Conference (APC), hosted by the prime minister, to discuss the issue further.

A committee has also been formed to organize both the Day of Solidarity and the APC.

Members of this committee include Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Sherry Rehman, Khawaja Saad Rafique, and Nayyar Bukhari.

Former President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also participate in the All Parties Conference. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed full support for the initiative, condemning the ongoing oppression of innocent Palestinians.

The meeting commended Jamaat-e-Islami’s consistent stance in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
