President Zardari Advocates for Unity Among Muslim Nations During Meeting with Imam of Masjid Al-Nabvi

ISLAMABAD, Aug 8 (Alliance News): President Asif Ali Zardari emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among Muslim countries to tackle challenges facing the Muslim Ummah.

He shared these thoughts during a meeting with Dr. Salah bin Mohammad M Albdeer, the Imam of Masjid Al-Nabvi, at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Thursday.

President Zardari welcomed Dr. Albdeer and highlighted the strong bonds between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), rooted in shared faith, history, and brotherhood. He expressed pleasure at the strengthening of relations between the two countries and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further enhancing bilateral ties.

He called for increased cultural and people-to-people exchanges to deepen the connection between the two nations. Zardari reiterated Pakistan’s steadfast support for Saudi Arabia, stating that Pakistan would always stand by its close friend.

Dr. Albdeer acknowledged the valued relationship between KSA and Pakistan, emphasizing the need for both nations to collaborate on addressing issues facing the Islamic World. He praised the contributions of the Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia and expressed support for the reforms led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al-Saud, which are expected to bring further development and prosperity to KSA.

President Zardari commended Prince Mohammed bin Salman for his leadership and vision in driving reforms for the welfare of Saudi citizens. He expressed hope that Dr. Albdeer’s visit would further strengthen the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Dr. Albdeer also offered prayers for the peace and prosperity of Pakistan.
