Foreign Officers Visit Safe City Islamabad for Insight into Modern Security Operations

ISLAMABAD, Dec 6 (Alliance News): Under-training foreign officers from the School of Military Intelligence visited the Safe City on Friday to gain firsthand knowledge of its advanced security systems and operations.

According to a public relations officer, the delegation explored the command and control center, the data hub unit, and the Police Operations Center hall, where they were given comprehensive briefings on the project’s procedures and benefits.

Safe City Islamabad is recognized for its impact across various departments through cutting-edge technology, including the Police Operations Center, Emergency Control Center, Data Hub Unit, Dispatch Control Center, E-Challan System, and the “Pucar-15” emergency helpline.

The delegation was briefed on the vital role of Safe City cameras, which contribute significantly to public safety, crime prevention, and protection of citizens’ lives and property.

The installation of face-recognition cameras at entry and exit points has proven especially effective in identifying suspicious individuals.

The visiting officers expressed their gratitude to the Director General of Safe City Islamabad and his team for the successful and informative visit.
