AIOU Inaugurates Digital Print Production Facility to Modernize Examination System

ISLAMABAD, Feb 24 (Alliance News): Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has launched a digital print production facility and expanded its print production setup to enhance transparency in examinations and streamline the printing and distribution of educational materials.

The initiative, supported by Pakistan Post Foundation, was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Nasir Mahmood on Monday.

Dr. Nasir Mahmood termed the project a revolutionary step toward ensuring timely delivery of books and a more efficient examination system.

He emphasized AIOU’s commitment to providing quality educational resources and modern facilities to students for improved learning outcomes.

Managing Director of Pakistan Post Foundation, Abdur Razzaq, and Print Manager, AIOU, Dr. Sarmad Iqbal, were also present at the event. Dr. Iqbal briefed the Vice-Chancellor on the new machinery’s design, plate-making, printing, and binding processes.

With the introduction of barcodes and serial numbers on exam sheets, result processing will now be faster, more transparent, and secure.

The integration of machine learning software will enable automated result verification, minimizing errors and reducing instances of cheating.
