Bangladesh, Pakistan Consuls General Discuss Stronger Ties in Dubai

DUBAI, Jan 13 (Alliance News): Bangladesh’s Consul General in Dubai, Md. Rashedujjaman, met his Pakistani counterpart, Hussain Muhammad, on Monday to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for enhanced cooperation, particularly in trade.

Welcoming Md. Rashedujjaman, Hussain highlighted the importance of deepening ties between the two nations.

Both officials acknowledged the untapped potential for collaboration and agreed to involve their respective consulates’ trade sections to boost economic cooperation.

Md. Rashedujjaman thanked Hussain for the warm reception and valued the insights shared about the consular services of the Pakistani mission.

They exchanged views on improving passport issuance, national identity card processing, and visa facilitation.

The meeting also focused on enhancing cooperation in community services and initiating public awareness campaigns.

Senior diplomats from both sides attended the discussion, which concluded with a mutual commitment to strengthening relations.
