Belarus PM Roman Golovchenko Meets COAS Gen. Asim Munir, Discusses Bilateral Defence Cooperation

ISLAMABAD, Oct 15 (Alliance News): Prime Minister of Belarus, Roman Golovchenko, met with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Syed Asim Munir, on Tuesday.

The meeting focused on regional dynamics and the enhancement of bilateral security and defence cooperation between Pakistan and Belarus, according to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) news release.

COAS General Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s appreciation for Belarus’s contributions to global and regional affairs. He expressed a desire to further strengthen the military partnership between the two nations.

Prime Minister Golovchenko praised the Pakistan Armed Forces for their professionalism and significant role in promoting regional peace and stability. He also commended the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s military in the fight against terrorism.
