Pakistan Condemns Assassination of Former Palestinian PM Ismail Hania

ISLAMABAD, Aug 2 (APP): The National Assembly of Pakistan on Friday strongly condemned the assassination of former Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Hania in an Israeli airstrike in Iran on Wednesday.

Leader of the Opposition, Barrister Gohar, expressed solidarity with the government of Pakistan on this issue. “We stand as one nation in this regard,” said Barrister Gohar, adding that Hania’s assassination is a significant tragedy.

He emphasized that Pakistan has always supported the struggles of Palestinians and Kashmiris for freedom and will continue to do so.

Gohar criticized Israel and India for violating international laws without fear of consequences, calling on the Muslim world to respond to these atrocities. He questioned whether the issue lies in the weakness of Muslims or the unchecked power of Israel, which continues the genocide of innocent Palestinians.
