ISLAMABAD, Dec 10 (Alliance News): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Tuesday presided over a high-level meeting to review progress on the outsourcing of airports and the privatization of state-owned enterprises (SOEs).
During the meeting, the deputy prime minister emphasized the government’s commitment to strengthening Pakistan’s economy through transparent and efficient privatization of SOEs.
He highlighted that these measures aim to enhance operational efficiency and attract investment into key sectors.
The meeting was attended by Minister for Privatization and Investment Abdul Aleem Khan, National Coordinator of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), and officials from relevant ministries, according to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
