ISLAMABAD, Sep 12 (Alliance News): The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has reminded all Members of the Parliament and Provincial Assemblies to submit their yearly Statements of Assets and Liabilities, including those of their spouse and dependent children, by December 31, 2024.
This submission must reflect the financial status as of June 30, 2024, and be filed on Form-B for the fiscal year 2023-24.
According to an official ECP statement, this requirement falls under Section 137 of the Elections Act, 2017, which mandates all members to provide asset details annually.
Failure to submit the statement by the deadline will result in the suspension of membership by January 16, 2025.
Members can obtain Form-B from the ECP Secretariat, Provincial Election Commission offices, and the websites of their respective assemblies, or download it directly from the ECP’s website.
