FO Dismisses Claims of Pakistan Supplying Missiles to Iran as Baseless

ISLAMABAD, Aug 9 (Alliance News) – Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch has firmly rejected reports from Israeli media that claim Pakistan has committed to sending nuclear weapons to support Iran. She described these allegations as “baseless.”

During her weekly press briefing, the spokesperson specifically addressed a report published by the Jerusalem Post on August 6, which alleged that Pakistan plans to supply Shaheen-III medium-range ballistic missiles to Iran if the conflict between Iran and Israel escalates.

“These reports are patently false,” Baloch stated. She emphasized the importance of considering the source of such claims and the malicious intent behind spreading such misinformation.

“This is a critical time in the Middle East,” Baloch added, urging all parties, including the media, to avoid spreading fake news.
