PM Shehbaz Sharif Arrives in Riyadh for Future Investment Initiative to Strengthen Pak-Saudi Ties

Riyadh, Oct 29 (Alliance News): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Riyadh on Tuesday for a two-day official visit, set to participate in the 8th edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII).

He was warmly welcomed at the Royal Terminal of King Khalid International Airport by Riyadh’s Deputy Governor, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrehman bin Abdulaziz, along with the Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and senior Saudi officials.

Prime Minister Shehbaz is scheduled to address a plenary session at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center, where this year’s FII, themed “Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow,” will explore the potential of investments to drive global prosperity and sustainable development.

The event is held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.

In addition to attending the conference, the Prime Minister is expected to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud and other senior Saudi leaders.

These discussions are anticipated to further strengthen Pak-Saudi relations, focusing on mutual benefits in trade and investment.

After his arrival, Prime Minister Shehbaz shared on X, “Just landed in the beautiful city of Riyadh at the invitation of my brother HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to participate in the 8th Future Investment Initiative Conference.”

He expressed enthusiasm about attending the gathering, emphasizing the significance of joint efforts to create a better future.
