LAHORE, Dec 10 (Alliance News): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasized that the protection and promotion of human rights remain a central vision and top priority for the Pakistan Muslim League (N).
In her message on International Human Rights Day, she highlighted that human rights transcend color, race, religion, gender, or status.
“Islam is the greatest advocate of human rights, and respect for these rights is the foundation for a progressive and prosperous society,” she stated.
Maryam Nawaz reiterated the Punjab government’s commitment to ensuring access to education, health, religious freedom, freedom of expression, and basic needs for all.
She emphasized the creation of a society based on equality, justice, and respect for every citizen.
“By promoting love, respect, and tolerance, we can ensure the protection of human rights and build a harmonious society,” the chief minister added.
