ISLAMABAD, Oct 17 (Alliance News): Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), praised the successful hosting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Islamabad.
During an exclusive interview with a private news channel, she highlighted the gratitude expressed by leaders of SCO member states, including China, India, Russia, and Uzbekistan, for Pakistan’s traditional hospitality.
Baloch noted that the summit, held from October 15-16, was a diplomatic success for Pakistan, strengthening regional cooperation and security discussions.
Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar also acknowledged the warm reception by Pakistani officials, including Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.
