ISLAMABAD, Sep 10 (Alliance News): Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with President of the Awami National Party (ANP), Senator Aimal Wali Khan, on Tuesday to discuss matters of mutual interest and the current national situation.
The conversation focused on measures to ensure peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and the fight against terrorism.
Naqvi condemned terrorism in all its forms, affirming that Pakistan’s national narrative against terrorism reflects the voice of the entire nation.
He emphasized the need for unity across political lines to combat terrorism effectively and paid tribute to the ANP’s martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the fight against terrorism.
The Interior Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to eradicating terrorism with public support. In response, ANP President Aimal Wali Khan reaffirmed his party’s full support for counter-terrorism efforts, stressing that terrorists have taken the lives of many innocent people.
