Mohsin Naqvi Strengthens Ties with Dawoodi Bohra Community

ISLAMABAD, Jul 11 (Alliance News): Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi embarked on a significant visit to Karachi, fostering harmony and cooperation with the esteemed Dawoodi Bohra community. At the Burhani Palace, he met with Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, the community’s revered leader, accompanied by his son Shahzada Hussain Burhanuddin.

Naqvi extended a warm welcome to Syedna Saifuddin, acknowledging the community’s peaceful and loving nature. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to resolving issues affecting the Dawoodi Bohra community, solidifying their bond. In appreciation, Syedna Saifuddin presented the Interior Minister with a beautiful chadar and tabarruk (blessings).

The Minister also visited the Shah Shaheedan Imam Bargah in Soldier Bazaar, reviewing security arrangements and meeting with prominent figures, including Molana Ayatullah Aqeel al-Gharavi and former Sindh Chief Minister Justice (r) Maqbool Baqar. He expressed satisfaction with the security measures in place and reiterated the federal government’s dedication to maintaining peace and security during Muharram, working closely with all provinces to allocate necessary resources.
