National Assembly Unanimously Adopts Resolution to Eradicate Terrorism

ISLAMABAD, March 13 (Alliance News): The National Assembly on Thursday unanimously passed a resolution reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to eliminating terrorism and safeguarding its sovereignty.

The resolution, presented by Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary, strongly condemned the hijacking of the Jaffar Express and all acts of terrorism that threaten the lives of citizens and national peace.

The House pledged to take all necessary measures to eliminate terrorism and declared that no group or ideology would be allowed to spread fear, hatred, or violence within the country. It further committed to ensuring that those attempting to destabilize Pakistan would face the full force of the law.

The resolution paid tribute to the brave security personnel who sacrificed their lives, recognizing their courage and patriotism. It also expressed deep appreciation for the Pakistan Army, FC, and law enforcement agencies for their unwavering commitment and bravery in neutralizing the terrorists involved in the attack.

The National Assembly urged the people of Pakistan to unite against terrorism and extremism to ensure long-term peace, safety, and prosperity for future generations.
