Pakistan Inaugurates ‘Cascade’ Service Center for Diplomatic Community in Islamabad”

ISLAMABAD, Nov 8 (Alliance News): Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the “Cascade” service center in Islamabad’s Diplomatic Enclave on Friday, marking a major step in enhancing services for diplomats and foreign nationals.

The facility centralizes essential services under one roof, providing a more convenient, secure experience for the international community.

Minister Naqvi highlighted that this state-of-the-art center offers over a dozen services, including issuing and renewing driving licenses, police verification, tenant registration, and more.

Foreign nationals can also access additional resources such as foreign registration, vehicle verification, and copies of First Information Reports (FIRs).

“This center reflects our commitment to a secure and welcoming environment for diplomats,” said Naqvi, noting that the initiative aligns with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s vision to prioritize the comfort and security of foreign representatives.

The facility aims to streamline processes for diplomats and strengthen cooperation between law enforcement and the diplomatic community. Over 1,500 police and security personnel are stationed in the enclave to ensure high standards of security.

Senior officials, including diplomats and police representatives, attended the inauguration, reinforcing the center’s importance in fostering secure, efficient communication within Islamabad’s diplomatic hub.
