ISLAMABAD, Nov 20 (Alliance News): The Dutch Ambassador to Pakistan, Henny de Vries, met with Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb on Tuesday to discuss mutual cooperation and explore ways to enhance relations between Pakistan and the Netherlands.
According to the Finance Ministry, both sides discussed key areas of collaboration, including mining, IT, oil and gas, agriculture, and dairy production.
The minister highlighted Pakistan’s economic reforms and achievements over the past 14 months, emphasizing efforts to promote export-led growth and address climate challenges through sustainable solutions.
Ambassador de Vries expressed interest in expanding cooperation, mentioning the Netherlands’ support for Pakistan’s trade with the EU.
She also announced a scheduled visit by the Dutch cricket team next year to strengthen sports ties and learn from Pakistan’s cricketing expertise.
