Pakistan Pavilion Draws Global Attention at Riyadh Mining Ministers’ Forum

ISLAMABAD, Jan 14 (Alliance News): Minister for Petroleum Dr. Musadik Malik participated in the 4th Annual International Meeting of Mining Ministers held on Tuesday in Riyadh, alongside representatives from 85 countries.

Dr. Malik engaged with international mining leaders and industry experts, also visiting the Pakistan Pavilion, a standout feature of the Future Minerals Forum (FMF).

The forum, which showcases global innovations in mining, saw the Pakistan Pavilion hosting over 500 visitors on its first day, highlighting significant interest in the nation’s mineral resources.

A collaborative effort between Pakistan’s Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) and 12 leading local companies, the Pavilion featured an acclaimed ‘Mineral Map of Pakistan,’ creatively showcasing the country’s abundant mineral reserves. Visitors included major global mining operators, investors, service providers, media, and diplomatic representatives.

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources toured the forum, exploring exhibits and engaging with delegates. The Pakistan Pavilion, curated by Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL), aims to foster partnerships and attract investment into Pakistan’s growing mining sector.
