ISLAMABAD, March 25 (Alliance News): Foreign Office (FO) Spokesperson Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan on Tuesday clarified that no visit to Israel was possible under existing Pakistani regulations, as Pakistan’s passport is not valid for travel to Israel.
Responding to media queries regarding reports of Pakistani journalists traveling to Israel, the spokesperson dismissed the claims, emphasizing that Pakistan’s position on Israel remains unchanged.
“Pakistani passports explicitly state they are ‘not valid for travel to Israel’; therefore, no such visit is possible under existing regulations,” he stated.
Ambassador Khan reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, advocating for an independent and sovereign Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to a just and peaceful resolution of the Palestinian issue in accordance with UN resolutions and the aspirations of the Palestinian people.
