Pakistan Rejects India’s Claims on Jammu and Kashmir as “Dangerously Delusional”

ISLAMABAD, Sep 01 (Alliance News): Pakistan on Sunday firmly rejected India’s recent claims on Jammu and Kashmir, labeling them as “misleading” and “dangerously delusional.”

The Foreign Office Spokesperson, responding to media queries regarding the statement made by India’s Minister for External Affairs, reiterated that the Jammu and Kashmir dispute remains an internationally recognized issue that must be resolved in accordance with United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

The Spokesperson emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to diplomacy and dialogue but warned that any hostile actions by India would be met with “unyielding resolve.”

The statement urged India to abandon its “provocative rhetoric” regarding Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and instead engage in meaningful dialogue to achieve a just and lasting resolution to the dispute.

“India’s unilateral actions in IIOJK cannot and will not change this reality,” the statement asserted.

Pakistan stressed that lasting peace and stability in South Asia can only be achieved through a settlement that aligns with UNSC resolutions and the inalienable rights of the Kashmiri people.
