Pakistan Strongly Condemns Cyber Terrorism in Lebanon, Calls for Accountability

ISLAMABAD, Sep 19 (Alliance News): Pakistan on Thursday strongly condemned the recent attacks in Lebanon, involving the detonation of electronic equipment, emphasizing that the use of cyber and electronic means for terrorism in foreign countries is highly reprehensible.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, during her weekly press briefing, stated, “Pakistan strongly condemns this week’s attacks in Lebanon carried out through detonation of electronic equipment.”

She further noted that the terror attacks are part of Israel’s alarming adventurism in the region, which threatens peace and security.

The spokesperson reaffirmed Pakistan’s support for Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and urged the international community to take immediate action to hold Israel accountable for its acts of terrorism and violations of international laws.

Baloch also condemned Israeli air strikes on a school and refugee shelter in Gaza, stating that these actions violated the spirit of humanitarian efforts.
