ISLAMABAD, Jan 24 (Alliance News): Pakistan will host the 9th edition of the multinational AMAN Exercise and the inaugural AMAN Dialogue in Karachi from February 6 to 11.
The event will bring together over 60 nations, including the United States, China, Russia, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Qatar, and Türkiye.
The participants, comprising senior military leaders, naval ships, aircraft, and Special Services Group (SSG) teams, will collaborate under the theme “Together for Peace,” addressing non-traditional maritime threats through joint efforts.
The exercise, initiated in 2007, aims to promote regional cooperation, enhance interoperability, and demonstrate a united front against terrorism, piracy, and other maritime crimes. The growing participation highlights global trust in the Pakistan Navy’s commitment to advancing collaborative maritime security.
As part of AMAN-25, the first-ever AMAN Dialogue will focus on strengthening global maritime security cooperation and will feature discussions led by senior military leaders worldwide.
