Pakistani Student Shines as Best Delegate at Harvard MUN in Dubai

LAHORE, Jan 26, 2025 (Alliance News): Pakistani student Rania Ali has achieved global recognition by being named Best Delegate at the Harvard Model United Nations (HMUN) conference, held in Dubai under the auspices of Harvard University.

The prestigious event, one of the world’s largest MUN gatherings, featured over 1,000 participants from more than 35 countries. Delegates showcased exceptional diplomacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Ali’s outstanding performance in diplomacy and her ability to propose innovative solutions earned her the conference’s top honor.

“It is a privilege to represent Pakistan on an international stage,” said Ali. “I am proud to present a positive image of my country to the world.”

The Harvard MUN provides a platform for young leaders to engage in meaningful discussions and propose strategies for some of the world’s pressing issues.

Ali’s achievement follows the recent triumph of another young Pakistani, Shehram Wasi, who also earned the highest honor at the same conference. Shehram’s distinction is particularly remarkable as he ranks among the youngest recipients of this award in the history of HMUN.

These accomplishments underscore Pakistan’s potential to excel on international forums and demonstrate the country’s growing representation in global leadership and diplomacy.
