JEDDAH, Feb 10 (Alliance News): Pakistan’s Permanent Mission to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) organized a ‘Special Ceremony and Photo Exhibition’ at the OIC Secretariat to commemorate Kashmir Solidarity Day.
OIC Secretary General Hussain Ibrahim Taha attended the event as the chief guest, alongside OIC Special Representative for Jammu and Kashmir Yousef Al-Dubaie, OIC Assistant Secretaries General, diplomats, journalists, and members of the Pakistani and Kashmiri community.
Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the OIC, Syed Muhammad Fawad Sher, in his opening remarks, thanked the OIC Secretary General for his presence.
He reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering political, moral, and diplomatic support for the Kashmiri people in their struggle for self-determination, as recognized by the UN Charter and relevant OIC and UN Security Council resolutions.
