ISLAMABAD, Nov 19 (Alliance News): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed satisfaction over the progress of $2.8 billion Saudi investment projects in Pakistan during a meeting with Saudi Deputy Interior Minister on Tuesday.
Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the historic ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, thanking the Saudi leadership for their consistent support.
He emphasized transforming these ties into stronger economic and investment partnerships.
Discussing the Gaza crisis, the prime minister praised Saudi Arabia’s leadership, particularly Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for uniting the Muslim world and addressing the violence in Gaza.
He stressed the importance of bilateral cooperation in defense and security and welcomed the Saudi delegation’s visit as a step toward closer collaboration.
The prime minister reiterated his invitation to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for an official visit to Pakistan, assuring him of a warm welcome.
