ISLAMABAD, Nov 21 (Alliance News): Senator Irfan Siddiqui, leader of the PML-N parliamentary party in the Senate and Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday.
During the meeting, he briefed the prime minister on the performance of the PML-N senators and the committee on foreign affairs.
Senator Siddiqui praised the prime minister for stabilizing Pakistan’s economy and achieving significant economic goals.
PM Shehbaz appreciated the contributions of PML-N senators under Senator Siddiqui’s leadership. He emphasized the Senate’s role as a symbol of national unity and urged collaboration with other parties for provincial harmony.
The prime minister also highlighted the importance of a strong foreign policy in modern times, expressing hope that the Foreign Affairs Committee, led by Senator Siddiqui, would continue guiding the government with valuable insights.
