ISLAMABAD, Oct 17 (Alliance News): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation’s (SCO) development priorities during a meeting with SCO Secretary-General Zhang Ming.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 23rd SCO Council of Heads of Government (CHG) session.
Prime Minister Shehbaz emphasized Pakistan’s readiness to work closely with SCO member states to strengthen the organization and enhance its effectiveness.
He also expressed gratitude for Secretary-General Ming’s support during Pakistan’s hosting of the SCO CHG meeting and lauded his dedication during his tenure.
Secretary-General Ming congratulated the prime minister on successfully organizing the SCO CHG meeting and acknowledged Pakistan’s leadership and contributions across various domains within the SCO.
