ISLAMABAD, Feb 24 (Alliance News): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will embark on an official visit to Uzbekistan from February 25-26 at the invitation of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, along with key cabinet members.
According to the Foreign Office, the leaders will discuss bilateral cooperation in connectivity, trade, investment, energy, defense, security, regional stability, and education.
They will also exchange views on regional and international matters of mutual interest, with multiple agreements and MoUs expected to be signed.
During the visit, the prime minister will address the Pakistan-Uzbekistan Business Forum, where leading businessmen from both countries will engage in B2B meetings to boost trade ties.
Pakistan and Uzbekistan share deep historical, cultural, and religious ties, with aspirations for regional peace and development.
The visit reflects Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening its relationship with Uzbekistan by enhancing economic collaboration and regional integration.
